Are you caring, directly or indirectly, for someone with an acquired brain injury? Do you find yourself alone? Do you need to talk to other carers who understand your situation and who can offer you support?Who we areThe Brisbane Carers' Group is a moderated social group that gives carers the opportunity to:
Share and express your feelings, thoughts and concerns. In addition, each month there is a guest speaker talking about a new service that can assist carers, or an issue that directly affects carers. The group is facilitated by Sue-Ellen Thorne (a Community Response Officer) she has several years experience in the disability sector, and now with our information and referral service. You won’t be expected to pay, make a commitment, join a committee or even tell your story unless you want to. Where we meetThe group meets at the Hotel LA- 68 Petrie Terrace, Brisbane (Corner of Caxton St and Petrie Tce). Free 2 hour parking is available at The Barracks.
When10:00am – 12:00pm, the third Wednesday of every month. See the Events Calendar on our web site (normally in the right-hand menu bar) for more information. Further Information
