The Brain Injury Association of Queensland received the Earle Duus Memorial Award for their website and its contribution to the support and understanding of those affected by acquired brain injury.
Earle Duus Award
The Earle Duus Memorial Award is presented annually to an individual or
organisation for outstanding contribution towards the advancement,
recognition or achievement of people with a psychiatric disability or
acquired brain injury within the community. The Award is under the
auspice of Open Minds and is open to any individual or group resident
in Queensland. Other Winners
Madeline Cottee Achievement Awards were presented to Stepping Stone Clubhouse Inc and Westside Training – The My Life Program. Stepping Stone Clubhouse provide members with employment, housing, social skills and community participation. The My Life Program offered by Westside Training facilitates independent living within the community.
